Problem is that there is crosstalk between the Frazmatons and the Iontwerps and the screebies are blocking the gate.
More vin rouge please;)
When we finally figure it all out, all the rules will change and we can start all over again.

Last connection for me 27 Jul 2008 20:39:19 UTC, my PC.

Worst part is this morning I lost about a 100 units on my Mac when I was making changes to my app_info.xml file. All my units were set for 5.27 and the new info was for 5.28. I did get enough work to get through the day though.

Simply not true. The Scheduler is not down. It's running just fine. Take a look at the Server Status Page. Everything is green and running. The Project never lies to us. You know that.

Therefore, if the Server Status Page says things are OK, they are OK. The problem is therefore obviously with your computers, not with SETI. That's what the Server Status Page is for.

Didn't you know that?

Good reply.

I have the Cricket Graphs bookmarked too...

The point is, of course, that "Server Status" is only part of the story. If they really cared about keeping the Users informed, they'd have a single "Project Status" page with all the relevant data to get a snapshot in one place of what's going on - and not going on - at the moment. This would include the Cricket Graphs (or at least a link to them with a brief explanatory header), and anything else appropriate.

Instead of a head-in-the-sand page full of green when the Project is definitely not green.

Well....of course the problem is that if the servers have gone away, they can't very well correctly report their status, eh?

It seems to be running OL now!

All 280 of my WUs have now reported. They now just need sorting and moving to pending or getting credit.

I think that's a result of the network loading from everyone uploading and downloading. All mine are getting through eventually though some take a number of re-tries.
