Nice and cozy 107 F, 42 C here and it is 6pm. I think it is icecream time.

You'll have to eat it quick. LOL

Message 803296 - Posted: 30 Aug 2008, 1:46:30 UTC - in response to Message 803039.

Hello everyone. I would like to apologize for not being around much lately. School just started up again last week so that's most of the reason I've been gone. I'm also taking just about every honors class there is to take, so that means that I have A LOT of homework that keeps me away from here. The other reason is that my mother had to have surgery the other day and is going to be in the hospital until Saturday evening. This means that immediately after school I go and visit her for a few hours, come home and do my homework, and by then it is usually about time for me to head to bed to prepare for the next day. I will probably continue to be gone most of the time for the next few weeks, or possibly even months. Just thought I would stop by to say hi and let you all know that I haven't forgot about you!

John

Hello to you John ;-) mmmhh.. well.. we are not forgetting about you, so you`ll just take your time, and we`ll be here when times are not so busy for you ;-) Its wonderful to hear youre visiting your mum on hospital as 1th priority..even with all that homework.. I`ll say a good guy like you are worth waiting for.. hehe ;-) take care!

Thanks for understanding Moon. My mother got discharged today, so I hope that by the end of next week or so I won't be as tied up, but I have no way to know at this moment. Right now I am having trouble holding my eyes open and want to finish a paper I'm doing on the cardiovascular system for anatomy class. I have until Tuesday to have it done, but I'd like to get it finished in advance. After that I'm off to catch up on some sleep. Night all!

I concur. It's always tough when a family member is ill. I hope your mum gets well soon.

Live long and BOINC!
