JD, you missed me, since I know how to duck, roll etc pp. But after all this hard work, I will have one of your superb drinks or maybe more.

Thanks to Moon's additions to the bar/hotel, I reserved a room.

Laying on the grass, looking up, I noticed a planet. My telescope is a bit out of shape, so I used the binoculars.

Anyone with a big eye can enlighten me to what it is?
Pluto will always be a planet to me.

Get the fire extinguishers to the ready... Because I'm ringing the bell...
A round of flaming B-52s on me... There is a bell, isn't there ???

You seem to have thing about open flames............
You might try one of my flaming Guinness concoctions......

It could have been Venus, Saturn, or the Moon

Flaming Guinness ??? Please enlighten us.

B-52 is a wonderful Pousse-Cafe with carefully constructed layers of Kahlua, Baileys, & Grand Marnier...
It only becomes flaming B-52 when you pour a thin layer of over-proof rum on top and light it up.

Tonight is the trial run and the drinks are free... B-52 night on Fridays ain't gonna be cheap...
(You know how expensive insurance is after the last fire ?) Drink up while you can...

I used to drink these non-stop on the Thai Airlines flights from Beijing to Bangkok...
Ahhh...Tiananmen tanks for the memories...

I had posted a while back in a thread to Johnny Guinness......but here you go....

Pull a short pint of Guinness......leave about half an inch or so above the froth....
Using a spoon, float 2 or 3 shots of Wild Turkey 101 atop the Guinness to bring the pint up to the top...it will kill the head.

Light it off......it may take just a little effort, but once you get the edge of the glass warmed up with your lighter, the 101 will light and give off a lovely blue flame.

Admire it for just a moment or two....don't want to let the lip of the glass get too hot....and quaff the lot in a chug.....

Yummy!

No more nutz than usual.........

I shall try to take a pic or two for you in a couple of weeks or so.....when I can afford to get lost for a night. This weekend is scheduled.

I'll have to handcuff the cam to me wrist, 'cuz after a few rounds of those.....well, I think you know.

The last time I sat down and ordered one, the barkeep quipped....."Planning a short night, are we?" LOL.....it was.

Sorry to keep y'all waiting... We ran out of the over-proof rum, no fire for now... Here you go...

Nothing like a b-52 for breakfast... goes great in coffee to help get the day underway :)

Venus is plenty bright, sets in the evening...
Jupiter is the next brightest and is staying up most of the night and was near the moon last night. With binoculars, you should be able to see 4 or 5 of Jupiters larger moons.

a long time getting over there. My travelling budget is not
too big ;-) And im sure I dont find anyone else like you.. I`ll
say thats one of the good things in this world.. there is only
one of each of us.. it makes us all special in some way.. And im
sure youre not more rough than I am.. I can assure you I can
shout and be "unpolished" when I feel pushed too much.. even if
I try to learn... ;-)

Now.. just make it another coffee.. That Flaming Guinness would
