I am useless at Golf, but I am more than happy to carry your clubs. Glad you are ok.

Thanks for giving me a break on my tab ;)

You're quite welcome.

A good caddie is hard to find...in addition to carrying the clubs, a good caddie makes beer runs when necessary :) I've got a feeling you will be kept very busy at the tournament.

@Stealth Eagle: No dog paddle in my neighborhood, but I think I lost my kite :-( and there is plenty of fresh firewood laying around.

You won't have to worry about heat for the winter then will you..:)

I used to love going to Gib.
In my Navy career I went in and out 14 times by sea and by air before the border was re-opened. Nuclear Subs stop at Gib to top up with perishables and potable water before proceeding East on "Sneakies" Then we stopped on the way home to offload surplus stores and have some R&R to let off steam before going home to wives and kids!
I loved flying into Gib.
Because of the Spanish and Morrocan Air Restrictions at that time and the short length of Gib's only runway; Military Transport flights had to make a very tight descending turn while using reverse thrust in flight in order to lose altitude rapidly enough to enable the pilot to line up early on final approach. In the four times that I flew into Gib we had to overshoot and go-around twice, both times were in VC 10's. The overshoots involved a tight climbing turn to avoid air-space infringements and gain enough altitude to approach again.
It was real Brown-Adrenalin stuff!!
Please do visit Gib Dirk, it's an amazing place. You can do a tour of the power stations and supply depots and water purification plants deep inside the rock and do the tour of "Inces Tunnel" St Michaels Cavern is an amazing natural Amphitheatre inside the rock.
I have other memories too. In a drunken prank a shipmate picked me up in a Bear Hug, lost his balance and dumped both of us through a shop window in the main street and set off the burglar alarms at 2 am. After the hospital removed the broken glass from my backside I spent three days as a guest of her Majesty before returning to my Sub to be punished for the same offense the second time!
A shipmate by the name of Chris Vine ignored the sign not to feed the Rock Apes. An Ape bit his hand. He managed to grab the ape by an ankle and flung it off the rock. It died on impact after a long free-fall! Gib Apes are actually Monkeys and they are a natural treasure and a protected species. Chris was sentenced to 6 weeks.
In 1974 we were on the run-in to Gib on the way west after a long "Sneaky" when there was an almighty bang and the rudder went hard to port. We surfaced and divers checked for damage but there wasn't a mark on the rudder or the sub?
We were towed into Gib but Gib wasn't equipped to Dry-Dock a Nuclear Sub. It took two weeks to ship our Sub's docking cradle to Gib and a week to install it in a dry-dock then the Dockyard went on strike!
I spent three months in Gib as a single sailor, June-August, the tourist season; living in the Holiday Inn. They changed the bed sheets and towels every two days and the tourist girls changed every 14 days! The Min of Def' payed the bills, the Dockyard wouldn't let me go to work and the UKAEA (United Kingdom Nuclear Energy Authority) wouldn't let me leave Gib.
It was a tough three months but someone had to keep the British tourist girls happy at British Tax Payers expense. LMAO.

I LUV GIB. Ha Ha.
