There were two problems: Thanks David, I like how that certificate down a few posts is custom for everyone. Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... And no good credit hound!

There were two problems: 1) The "Certificates" link on the home page pointed to page with project-specific SETI@home certificates, while the link on the Account page pointed to a standard BOINC certificate. I changed this so that they both point to the project-specific page. 2) The S@h certificates had a bug causing the # of floating-point ops to be wrong. I fixed this. -- David |

So I believe I saw Joe Segur saying on another thread that 0.86 trillion flops constitutes one cobblestone. So everybodys certificate is a mess when it comes to the number of flops computed by him/her. I wouldnt waste my ink printing my erroneous certificate. |

*Grin* I could have sworn that it was my name on that certificate. Even the date of joining seti is correct so it _must_ be my certificate ;-) Regards, John. |

Here's mine and yep I get the same 0.86 trillion fpops. My Birthday is coming up on the 6th(I'll be 48), But I'll be at a relatives house on the 4th celebrating that and the 4th, But the PCs get no rest. My Amazon Wishlist The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Is this the imformation your looking for taken from certificate dated 13:00 GMT on 2nd July 2008. Founders priverledge. This certifies that wandering willie has participated in SETI@home since 19 August 1999, and has contributed 74,300 Cobblestones of computation (64.20 quadrillion floating-point operations) to SETI@home. |

Aye... There's the rub......this one is from the Home page, the first was from my account page........ This certifies that msattler has participated in the SETI@home project since 9 July 2000, and has contributed 14,350,089 Cobblestones of computation (0.86 trillion floating-point operations) to SETI@home's search for extraterrestrial life. I get a different certificate via the SaH home page, than from my account page: Sah Home page certificate link ('cert_sah.php'): 870,816 Cobblestones of computation (0.86 trillion floating-point operations) My Account page certificate link ('cert1.php'): 870,816 Cobblestones of computation (752.38 quadrillion floating-point operations) So i'd suggest 'cert1.php' looks fine, but 'cert_sah.php' is reporting flops for 1 cobblestone. Currently mine reads....... This certifies that msattler has participated in SETI@home since 9 July 2000, and has contributed 14,349,058 Cobblestones of computation (12.40 quintillion floating-point operations) to SETI@home. has anyone sent a private message to Matt or David regarding this problem? If not i would be willing to send out a message. Read your message, looked at my certificate, cause the 0.86 (TRILLION FLOP(S) sounded familiar!? Here i found, me too contributed : Certificate It doesn't add up?!

I was checking my certificate of computation and noticed something strange. Presently my score for Seti is 253,901 cobblestones and the certificate says that I have contributed 0.86 trillion floating point operations. However, the certificate from last month states my score to be 94,500 and that I had contributed 81.65 quadrillion floating point operations. The certificates can be checked at the following links: Lots of glitches it would seem. I started my team 2 months before I joined seti. Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... And no good credit hound!

I am confused with these figures. Does anyone have an explanation? Cheers, Vipin |
