Univisión showed the dragrace and crash of Kalitta. It looked like the burning car had slowed considerably before crashing into the restraint at the end of the field. Still it may have been going 100 mph (161 kph). Maybe that crash is what killed him. The next day someone got up to about 325 mph (523 kph) in less than 4.6 seconds in the quarter-mile (402.3 meters). ID: 772543 · |

Audi R10 sound from outside at Sebring 2007 The Le Mans race was A mail biter! Peugeot had the faster car however Audi's R10 was set up for endurance racing which played in their favor. I believe Peugeot used smaller radiators for this race to increase the speed of the car. I noticed several time the Peugeot's had to come into the pits to have the radiators cooled down. Only 2 days to the first ever F1. Night Race and I can't wait to see what the spectator experience is like at night. It's a street race so it is bound to have better lit coverage than Le Mans. I hope my team pull out their fingers, stop spinning and crashing and manage to score some serious points.    Join the #1 UAE Team.
