It wasn´t definetly the last night race many more to come.
And the big looser is Ferrari not Raikonen.
They´ve cost Massa the title probably.
Raikonen had nothing to loose.

Probably not the last night race but when they are meant to be cutting costs, so that smaller teams can still compete, how do they justify costs of, 1800+ * 2kW lights run on generator power with 4 times 5+ km of cabling, for at least 24 hours. Each fourth light was powered by different generator set.

It was another boring, no overtaking street circuit, just like Valencia, safety car guaranteed, so result is a lottery. My thanks to Ferrari for comedy show, which at least made it enjoyable.

And if you want a Lamborghini.

There is a good article in yesterday's GP+ magazine about the situation into which Ferrari have got themselves with Raikonen.
It is estimated that it will cost Ferrari between 80 & 90 Million Dollars to buy out his contract and if they are going to do it then they must do it very soon before all the best drivers sign new contracts with their teams.
Raikonen's Management Company know this and they will stretch out the negotiations and push up the price. Then Ferrari will have to pay at least $50 Million to attract the drivers that they want to sign up.
FIAT, the owners of Ferrari are not at all thrilled with the situation considering today's financial climate and the downturn in the sales of new cars.

Alonso's petuant Prima Dona performance at McLaren has pushed him way down Ferrari's wish list of drivers and F1 Paddock insiders are saying that at the top of the list are Kubica, Vettel and Rosberg.

Go to GP+ and get your free sample back issue.

There is also a very good article on Paul Newman in the Singapore issue.

Sorry to interrupt the F1 & sports car racing, but this weekend is Talladega baby!!!!

2.66 mile tri-oval, packs of cars three wide, inches apart, running at 190mph. When trouble starts, chaos is sure to reign.

Over forty years later, it still looks great.

Hooda thunk it??

Final practice for the Jap GP...

Gorn to the F1 Club for mi F1 breakfast! The GP is on from 0900 to 11-00 here.

GT40. Didn't you hear/read the story of Jeremy Clarkson the Top Gear presenter who paid about $1/4 Million for one of the first batch of the Commemorative Limited Edition Ford GT.40's ?
It was 6 months late arriving and since he bought it, it has spent more time in the Ford dealers garage than his own!

Yes, that was not a GT40 though, but a Ford GT. Clarkson got rid of the GT due to its unreliability and got a Lamborghini - a Gallardo I think.

Many luck for Alonso i think.

The penalty against Hamilton was just a joke.

Not really.
I dont think Ferrari want the same trouble like Mc Laren last year.

Personally, I think that because of all these dubious decisions by, what I will call 'amateur stewards', F1 itself has become a joke. For far too many people, it looks like bias against anyone who is not driving a car that is red!
