I have 2 systems here, ipanema and saopaolo. Both running Debian testing/unstable, on a local LAN behind a Linksys BEFSR41 router. One fixed IP on the other side. Saopaolo runs fine, but when I try to start ipanema, I get:

[user]@ipanema:~/boinc$ ./boinc_3.18_i686-pc-linux-gnu &

[1] 526

Is it the single IP? Or what?

Thanks for your help!

p.s - Hunh. That's weird, a few minutes after I posted, 11 minutes after the client started, the client started asking for work:

Duh!

Check your Boinc preferences, especially:

Do work while computer is in use? no

The "Suspending..." message is Boinc telling you it's suspending 'cause your computer is in use.

Perhaps the error message could be more clear, yes?
