Who put the Gonk...in the Gonk Gonk Gonk Gonk Gonk?

... time was neigh to join Es99 (part I) in a shopping trip. This was to allow Es to have a facial, while the GONK went deep in the organisation for a full wax strip and industrial level steam treatment.

When that was complete, the GONK hoped that Es would take him down Oxford Street for a meal. He was planning to make it at least 6 little people, BBQed slowly and topped off with Panjaro Sauce (for which the £25 congestion charge was prepaid).

The chances that the wax and industrial steam would temporarily disguise his massive BO and horrible halitosis was very good.

Now ...

Es said to the Gonk do you like children? The Gonk said yes I do, but I couldn't eat a whole one.

Oh OK said Es, just wait here a mo would you, I'm just popping over there for a Brazilian doodah....

While Es was away getting her jar of Brazilian doodah, the GONK shivered in the wind. For, although hairy the fur was very very fine and thin. This meant that he cooled very fast and became immobilized on the pavement, while Es's two boys looked on in wonder.

Despite this very dangerous situation (a hungry immobile GONK), nothing had changed when Es returned, and found ....

.. that the Gonk was watching the Cup Final on a TV in the shop window and cheering like mad for

The Leicester Tigers, who had just won the club Rugby World Cup.

The results of this fantastic win, on more important matters than the unknown FA cup, was to feed the GONK for a further 2 weeks, and, equally importantly, give it's lower bowel the power to regenerate the GONK's fearsome BO as well as the halitosis.

Thus forearmed, the GONK returned to the forests he likes and stalked his favourite prey of human bins, with football club supporter frenzy.

Morning Misfit.

My cable modem has been resetting itself most of the evening. After hitting several tech forums I found a post that said to disconnect the cable if it runs through a surge protector. Sure enough it was. So now its going directly from the wall to the modem and not a single reset since. According to the boot log the "time of day" it couldn't get before now shows as retrieved.

I have had a similar problem here where the surge protector is introducing enough attenuation that the ADSL modem signal falls below the acceptable threshold and causes the modem to cut out. Without the surge protector though I have fried 2 modems in as many years. Can't win eh?

Well I'm winning now. I also like winning arguments.

Eating Aluminum cans can Mess your teeth UP...I thought I saw braces on him but I wasn't sure since the pic is so SMALL and I thought it could have been marker for DIGITALLY ENHANCING the image that somehow were brought out while making it SMALL enough to be an AVATAR
