You seem to be crunching normally without any errors in the past 9 days, so I think you have a heat problem or a hardware problem.

Any reboots of the system with an anomalous nature should be recorded in Event Viewer: Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer. Check there first if there are any red or yellow warning flags in the System and Application logs.

I looked and all it says is the the system rebooted unexpectedly. I run the system withouy using Seti and it runs fine. After installng Bionic and runniig t the computer reboots rendomly. I have let it go for some time and it contnuses. However when I do a restore to the point before installing and running Bionic I no longer have the problem even days later until I reinstall and run Bionic then it is rgiht back again. ?????

A lot of modern BIOS's have a heat sensor for the CPU. You might consider looking at it before and after running BOINC/Seti. BOINC does use 100% of the CPU and that definitely causes the CPU to run hot.

Sometimes CPU fans die and you might not notice this with ordinary usage. Worth a look. Also, if where you live is hot, the CPU fan might not be up to the task. Possible that installing a case fan might help. Cost is cheap, <$20.00

Heat is a definite possibility here. Have you tried checking inside the case for dust buildup on the fans and the CPU cooler?

I have installed Bionic on my windows vista operating system. After installation the system would, what appears to be randomly, reboot itself. I have traced it back to being caused by Bionic. Because the only time my system does this is after I have installed and ran Bionic. I would like to keep running the Seti files but NOT at the cost of my system rebooting anytime it wants. Has anyone else run across this or have any suggstions?
