I downloaded this version: Mine says on average 1:10 or an hour and 10 minutes to as much as 2:12:36 or so. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

BOINC estimates are a lagging indicator. It will "correct" and drop as you process WUs with the new ap. |

All my computers saw an instant increase as the time left really started going. So far cut 2000 seconds off a 54 Workunit on my 6420... Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... And no good credit hound! |

Promising, promising. After crunching for just 5 min 32 sec with the new App my machine decided that it needed 13000 secs of additional work. F. |

Just sat and watched the task "to completion" on one of my quad6600's. It's counting 2 seconds at the time instead of one sec previously. A very promissing sign ;-) Thanks to all you guys that are involved in this porting project  kiva Greetings from Norway Crunch3er & AK-V8 Inside |

FattyMcFat: Now that your question/observation has been clarified, would you please consider revising the name of your thread? Perhaps something like "Boinc estimated completion times w/ Alex V8"? The current title might confuse/cause unnecessary concern especially w/ novice crunchers and there will no doubt be MANY folks stopping by the forum to D/L the new aps as word spreads the next few weeks. Anything we can all do to help make the upgrade go as smoothly as possible is appreciated. Thanks for your consideration : > ) Gecko |

Please don't delete the thread if that is an option. It's not very polite to invalidate the responses of others by deleting them. |

IIRC, if FMcF replys to his original message, you can change the subject, and therefore the title of the thread, but don't quote me on that. (or maybe a Mod can change the title...) Clk2HlpSetiCty:::PayIt4ward |
