About to go to a meeting at work so I'll make this short and sweet. I just tried another traceroute from work and got all the way! I can connect to *.kwsn.net from work now. Everyone please try again.

Still fails from SE Pennsylvania on Verizon. Works sort of OK using a Proxy server tho'.

Yep guess that was a false alarm. Now that I've had some time to look at it, it seems as though the ISP that my employer uses changed their routes to avoid using Global Crossing. Instead they route to Cox communications and then savvis before it gets to onering.

Can't hit lunatics from rochester.rr.com or frontiernet.net

Of course that would be the New York version of Frontier. I wonder why they route us differently than you.

Probably because it was part of Global Crossing before they sold that part of their business to Citizens Telephone.

Hi,
I have no access to lunatics, since I opened this thread. And two other sites www.xionusa.com and www.axpertec.com are not accessible, I bought a powersupply from there and need some support...
Can you tell me if the two sites are accessible for you.
thanks

Nope...not from Green Bay, WI using Road Runner. I get blocked by p15-0.CHR1.LA-CA.us.xo.net [207.88.81.170] for both websites.

Neither of those two sites are accessible to me in the UK, but I have no problem with http://lunatics.kwsn.net

I assume there are different reasons for the two different types of outage.

Hi,
thanks for your answers.
I looked up now --->
both are in the Los Angeles area
Domain: www.axpertec.com
IP-Adresse: 216.59.158.180
Region: Baldwin Park

Domain: www.xionusa.com
IP-Adresse: 216.59.158.181
Region: Baldwin Park

But I dont know why there is no connection....via http, but I found there is still ftp port 21 running...but no anonymous login is possible.
Have a look http://visualiptrace.visualware.com/reports/report-20080508-1805-www.xionusa.com.html#application

hmm.. very mysterious
On the backsite of the "Powersupply End User Quick Step Guide" you can read following words:
For Full Product Specification, Please visit our website at
www.xionusa.com or www.axpertec.com
Thank You very much!

I bought a 1000Watt AXP Supernova Powersupply.
On the package you can read:
Ver 2.92
V2.2 & V2.91 Complianced
-------------------------
Support
Intel Core Duo & Core2 Duo
AMD64 64 & 64X2
--------------------------
140mm Silent LED Fan
--------------------------
Serial ATA logo
NVIDIA SLI logo
80 PLUS logo
--------------------------
and now the problem:
The board Intel D5400XS need two 8pin EPS 12V connectors, but the powersupply has still one of them and a 4pin ATX 12V connector.
Did anybody of you use a 4-to-8-Pin PSU Adaptor how it is shown at http://www.xoxide.com/tt-psu-adaptor-cables.html to solve the problem ?
Your answers are welcome

heinz

I don't know if it was posted here.. long thread.. ;-)

If I remember correct, for a very very veeery long time Simons webside was in a list of xxx sides.
Because of a hacker?! So some ISPs blocked the access..

Or it was an other side.. or an other story.. I'm going old? ;-)

I have SBC/AT&T DSL for my ISP and I am in the Dallas TX metro area but use OpenDNS.com for my DNS servers instead of my IPS's and have not had any problem with access to the KWSN or Lunatic's sites.

Just for fun I did a Traceroute to Lunatics.kwsn.net using domaintools.com servers based in Renton, Washington. It was not able to reach kwsn.com.

Notice how it stops at 208.84.48.234 (which resolves to: WBS CONNECT LLC, out of Denver, Colorado) with the following results:

I'm still dying at a Global Crossing border router in the Tampa area.

The part which is kind of screwy is if I put in the domain name for the Coop it resolves to the 206.132.254.42 address in tracert. However, If I enter the IP address into tracert it looks it up as the spectacularrebeats domain??!!

This happens on both connections, so I'm not really sure what the deal is here. :-(

The only thing I can say for sure is I haven't found any reports of a current spat involving GC, so that leads me to think the problem is something else. :-/

@ Dr. CETI: I think they were looking for successful trace routes to the Coop. ;-)
