Not exactly a true 'thought' but:

<ns1.calpop.com.abuse.calpop.com> is trying to ssh into my fresh new linux OS...

National security is trying to abuse me? Can these people get any dumber? LOL...

At least now I know what to look for when I boot back into my compromised OSX... ;)

What would happen if a large gravity wave was emitted in the vicinity of a cosmic string? Would all go on unaffected? Would the cosmic string break, if so what would happen? Whay am I asking you all of this?

"When 'the common good' of a society is regarded as something apart from and superior to the individual good of its members, it means that the good of some men takes precedence over the good of others, with those others consigned to the status of sacrificial animals" ~ Ayn Rand ~

"Testify!" --Bart Simpson.

Homer: What's the big deal about going to some building every Sunday? I mean, isn't God everywhere?
Bart: Amen, brother!
Homer: And don't you think the almighty has better things to do than wonder where one guy spends one measly hour of his week?
Bart: Tell it, daddy!
Homer: And what if we've picked the wrong religion? Every week, we're just making God madder and madder!
Bart: [claps and waves arms] Testify!

Cordially,
Rush

Message 760574 - Posted: 30 May 2008, 10:33:12 UTC - in response to Message 741553.

“Either we all on this planet shall learn to live together in peace with one another, respecting the right of the other to search and to have other truths than our own, - or we shall all perish together. We still have that power in our hands – either to stop the arms race – or the human race. I personally feel that the human race is more important than the wealth accumulated by five percent of the privileged Americans from the arms race.” --Dean Reed, June 1, 1986 reply to attend his Colorado High School reunion

That's kinda funny. Even if what he says about the arms race were true, it seems that Dean isn't willing to respect the rights of those others to search and to have truths of ~their~ own.

Sorry, Deano, you can't have it both ways.

Cordially,
Rush
