Well done doc.

Mark is slowly working his way back up the list, i noticed as well. Until I get the new RAM - now on order from OWC - i'll let things slip a little, save on the electric bill. THen let it have 6 weeks solid running at the top spot.

Hopefully JD won't have finished his port of Alex's code by then - keeps fingers very tightly crossed.

OK. I was holding off on this just to see where the system settled, but now I see that I really don't have to wait. I was watching and hoping my AMD system would eventually make it to the highest ranked AMD system. Watching this system as the one to beat.

amd64

But then I just noticed that, even though it lists "amd64" as the manufacturer, it also indicates its an Intel XEON system. So which one is it really? I'd vote that it really is Intel. Which means I've had the top AMD system for quite a while then. And I still think the one I'm running may settle in a bit higher than Swishmail's top gun anyways.

That, and I've sustained 10,000+ RAC for a few days now as well. (Although it takes me more than one Host to get me there...)

I doubt I'll ever have a chance at the Top 10 list, but I'll make it into the Top 200 shortly, and I think I'll be happy enough with that.

Congrats to everyone posting!

(Especially you Doc, Albert Einstein, SATAN, Gnitter, Misfit and Ekky Ekky Ekky!)

Worked it's way back up, and my phased Penryn quaddy, as I predicted some time ago, is the last quad core left standing in the top 20 computers....

Congrats to you too Mark! I've been hoping you'ld manage that extra ~250 RAC to get up to 18, but it may be a stretch even for Penny.

Takes time, @ least 2 better 3 months, to get a kind off steady RAC.

My starting date, mentioned on my avatar, states 21 april 2004, correct,
but fell real ill after 2 weeks and admitted to hospital rightaway and for 8 month.
December 17, 2007, i started crunching (again), with 1 Pentium D820 & a Q6600.

Thanx.....I think the Penny has a teeny bit left in it....will be back to crunching Seti steady for a month's time in about a week......
My best hope is that some of the AK code porting becomes available soon....

Well, if you sneak either of the "Beta" AK ports onto Penny to get in the top 10, we'll have to mark your entry with an "*" just to be fair to the rest of the Windows systems. :-)

Oh, I wouldn't be running it long enough to impact my RAC until it were available for public release....and even then, I doubt I would make it to the top 10 aginst some of the hot 8 and 16 core rigs already up there....
I did run a short beta test for a number of hours this weekend, but it's been back to 2.4v code since.
