Are you brave enough to try this Install Internet Explorer 8. Lots of stories around, that MS admit they got IE7 wrong, and now trying to create browser that works like all the rest, Firefox, Safari, Opera etc. and not break pages. |

I personally won't beta test anything for microsift knowing their faliure rate. I'll bet you don't like leather, whips, bondage etc. either;) When we finally figure it all out, all the rules will change and we can start all over again. |

Hi! Thanks for the link! I just installed Internet Explorer 8 on my Windows XP Professional x64. It has both 64-bit and 32-bit versions. They have crashed a few times already and this Message box (for writing this message) does not work as it should: using keyboard's Up and Down arrow behave strangely. Well, at least, the Acid2 test works well. It is also possible to Emulate IE7, but you have to restart IE 8, before it works. ![]() Manned mission to Mars in 2019 Petition <-- Sign this, please. |

Heheheh... IE? Where have i heard about this legendary explorer of the fabled lost ruin of the Internets in Cyberspace.... Hmmm... I was only aware of the fiery fox and his descendants who lived in the ruin, and generation after generation they seek to thwart this explorer from completing his mission... ![]() ![]() |

Are you brave enough to try this Install Internet Explorer 8. There is no doubt they got it wrong...Microsoft makes everyone a beta tester, if they want to be or not. If any other company in the World put out as much buggy stuff they have, they would have been sued out of existance a long time ago... Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... And no good credit hound! ![]() |

I have been having wonderful results with Seamonkey... It's the continuation of Netscape 7.2, before they stripped out the email client in Netscape 8.... Mozilla with the old friendly Netscape face......... "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." ![]() |

Well I downloaded IE8 early this morning. So far it's working great. There are few new features that so far I like. I'll give it a go and see if it keeps working. Well that didn't last long. IE8 crashed about 5 mins after I wrote the above. Back to IE7. ![]() |

Know what I think? Maybe one off the reasons, why using I.E.[5.xx, 6.xx, 7.xx]is, that it by default act's as thé BROWSER, f.i. if u open a link from a forum, mailbox or whatever. You have to 'instruct' your browser, f.i. FIREFOX,(which i prefer), to be thé FIRST/ONLY BROWSER, on your host('s). In VISTA, I.E 7 just is worthless, cause off the too many ERROR's, BLUE-SCREEN's, beyond 'function call XXXXX' or whatever reason, the thing SHUT's DOWN , always fight with this ...... ![]() |

Know what I think? I don't have a problem using FireFox as my default browser in Vista. Have had it set that way since I started using Vista over a year ago and I've never received any errors or BSODs. |

I think he meant IE 7 was causing the Vista problems, not Firefox. |
