Correct me if I'm wrong, I was reading on this forum that connection through UMTS and GPRS are limited duo an encryption. For my experience, if there is an encryption, try to look for Proxy exceptions within your firewall in your connection explorer. Some companies, if it is a company pc, are using the proxy settings to allow only business related work on your computer. Hope I made some sense.

Mayby it is but I don´t know of such things; it is my home pc so there is no exception on it.
I traced the route and found some servers are not answering in time so I think it is depending on them.

Hi I use the newest version of boinc 5.30.10 with win pro and my mobile phone as modem via gprs edge
I have problems with down- and upload most of times it says http error and the errorcode is 184
what can I do?
