Isn't there any encryption envolved, PAP, CHAP or other setting for using your GPRS? Correct me if I'm wrong, I was reading on this forum that connection through UMTS and GPRS are limited duo an encryption. For my experience, if there is an encryption, try to look for Proxy exceptions within your firewall in your connection explorer. Some companies, if it is a company pc, are using the proxy settings to allow only business related work on your computer. Hope I made some sense.

Mayby it is but I don´t know of such things; it is my home pc so there is no exception on it.
I traced the route and found some servers are not answering in time so I think it is depending on them.
Thanks for your help

Go to your preferences, edit them, set "Skip image file verification?" to Yes, save changes, open BOINC Manager, Advanced view, Projects tab, Select Seti, click Update.

Although your list of results doesn't show any errors, so it seems to work for you. Anyway, try the above, see if it helps.

Thanks but it takes no effect. Is it possible that a server along the way is down or instable so that the transfer is interrupted ?
