Message 711800 - Posted: 12 Feb 2008, 22:18:55 UTC - in response to Message 708690.

While I appreciate all of the suggestions for behavior modification tips, techiques and devices, I have to confess that Eric's inability to be shaped, trained, changed, conditioned or modified in any way, shape or form is really part of his charm.

When Eric is gone for a week or so at a conference or on an observing run, I start to miss his absent-minded academic cluttering ways... While I wouldn't go so far as to say that recycling his empty Mountain Dew cans gives purpose and meaning to my life, I would have to admit that a tiny part of me smiles each time I find one of his "calling cards".

I think I'll keep my messy little adopted scientist around just the way he is - detritous and all. And thanks, but I don't really need another one underfoot. One scientist per household is critical mass as far as I'm concerned!

Fondly,
Angela

. . . some readin' material for you Eric ;)))
