When Eric is gone for a week or so at a conference or on an observing run, I start to miss his absent-minded academic cluttering ways... While I wouldn't go so far as to say that recycling his empty Mountain Dew cans gives purpose and meaning to my life, I would have to admit that a tiny part of me smiles each time I find one of his "calling cards". I think I'll keep my messy little adopted scientist around just the way he is - detritous and all. And thanks, but I don't really need another one underfoot.
