I've just switched over from Server 2003, which DID utilise all four cores, to XP x64 which only appears to be making use of one of these four cores. Is there any way I can resolve this so that it makes effecient use of all four cores?

I'm running an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600.

Thanks,
Michael.

You were running on 4 cores, so I am assuming that your Seti preferences are set to allow 4 or more cores.
If you launch task manager does it show 4 cores or just 1?

Your new quad created 1 Feb is reporting that it has 4 cpu's and has now downloaded 5 work units.

Also check (if you are looking at task manager), that when you are on the "performance" tab.
Click on view, CPU History and make sure it is set to "one graph per cpu".

That will make it show all 4 graphs.
If it's set to "one graph, all CPU's", you only see one graph and it looks like a single core system.

One final check you could do is looking in the device manager under processors. All four cores should have an entry there.
