Difficult to argue with that.

Having said that, I disagree.

There are only two types of people in the world, good and evil...

The odd thing is that both of them accuse the other of being evil... ;)

If man were but half as smart as he thinks he is

If man were but half as smart as he thinks he is

he would be twice as smart as he really is

If a man would think half as much about who he postures to be
and twice as much about who he truly is..
He would be four times less likely to try to be
Some sixteen times more than really he gives.

Analog technology put a man on the moon...
What has digital technology done for us?

A computer can perform complex operations with simple ones and zeros...
Why do people need so many complex programming languages?

Simple jogging push-ups pull-ups and sit-ups have kept people in shape for thousands of years...
In a society with access to complex fitness equipment, why are so many people out of shape?

And for goodness sake, why do people have to enunciate about everything...
Progress should be something visible, not something proclaimed...

One step forward two steps back... ;)

Intelligent life out there may not know we exist. It might be sending out strong beams in millions of directions. It'll have to point that beam in exactly the right direction at exactly the right time in order for us to detect it. Also that signal would have to be in the correct frequency band. A pretty remote possibility without a tremendous number of workunits and lots of signals from the aliens.

My thought for every day: "No good deeds go unpunished, and when will I ever learn?"

My thought for this day: "Those who live in glasshouses should not throw stones, but if you do anyway then be sure to wear all the protections needed to avoid the cuts from the shattered glass."

Addendum: At least wear SOMETHING.

It's hard to believe that a single generation could do so much damage on a global scale...

On the bright side, the test results are in for the long term effects of sex, drugs, and rock&roll abuse...

Maybe if I think more positively, it will all just go away... ;)

I think Jeffrey watched "The Secret" one too many times or has realized he should disconnect from his SPs.

When I was 12yo, my best buddy and I saw/noticed a UFO hovering nearby.
So, I apologise to you all.
We were collecting grass for John's caged rabbit. The Alien's must have concluded we were herbivors, and lost interest in communicating.

Earth? Been there. Done that. :)

Going into the new work week, please remember that the only person to have all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
