There are some scary rumors about that Rush and I went away for a couple of days for an antiChrist voodoo ceremony for eeeevil. You know, that's how we are and all....but officially that's not true. We'll be back from Barbados in a couple of days......

Christmas went good.

Most of the family there, lots of laughs and fun. Good food and pudding.

Didn't get much sleep the night before or after, maybe tonight.

Some fun XBox360 game sessions. Discovered my girlfriend can't race cars well, but still managed to get the best possible rating (and come 1st) for a 1 player race in Burnout Revenge. So she was happy with that.

Never surrender and never give up. In the darkest hour there is always hope.

No, you can't fool us, we know it's true, where else would I have got my cold from if it wasn't you two who put a spell on me? And today I have lost my voice, I can only squeak a bit. Thanks to you two.

Anyway, my Christmas Eve was fine, except for the cold, thank you.

I suppose you have played a lot with the pressie I sent you, since we haven't seen you here the past few days? And I guess you had a nice Christmas as well?

You know what would scare capitalists? Remembering that Jesus is the reason for the season and next year millions of people boycotting this whole stupid buying presents for one another thing. ;)

Christmas dinner with my cousin and her husband in Oklahoma. Ther was and animal rescue lady there whom I had not seen for awhile. Wonderful dinner, good conversation, and live violin and guitar music by our hosts who are very accomplished. Brought treats home for my cats. Surprise they liked them!!

No...we've been waiting on our pressie. :-(

We? I sent you a pressie, which I know you have received. As for Rush, I'm sure he has got a lot of pressies from his friends. He's on his own in this.

So you can hear me all the way over there? I'll be darned because I don't say much these days.

You could skip the spray stuff and just leave open christmas boxes with tissue paper inside. bows are good too. Of course if you spray it all down you'll entertain yourself and the neighbors even for a couple of hours.

Yup....
Over at the GF's house the kitties spent most of the afternoon playing with the tissue paper...and tossing around the catnip bags they got for Christmas.

It went fine. The wine I had at my brother's - I drank all of what I drank within fifteen minutes of arrival so that when it was time to leave 2-1/2 hours later the booze effect was at least half-worn off so I could drive safely home. One cup (237 ml) on an empty stomach was plenty to get me a good feeling.

Message 695128 - Posted: 27 Dec 2007, 20:20:35 UTC - in response to Message 695121.

I had a great Christmas.
Spent Christmas day with friends, eat way to much, and drank a ikkle bit to much
Then the exact same thing on Boxing day.
It was my friends sisters I was at, however my friend was working Christmas day, so she had her Christmas dinner on Boxing day.
Heh I eat more those 2 days then I usualy eat in 2 weeks ;)

And during my early morning walk (suffer bad from insomnia, so I'm often awake for 5 days at a time), to try and tire myself out, I found an abandoned kitten.

Guess that was fate as per usual I managed to get lost (only lived here for 6 years, lol), and I found a black bundle of fluff that had been put in a tiny cardboard box, and stuck in some bushes.
The Kitten giving the "I'm cold, I'm scared & I'm hungry" meow alerted me to her.

So Kitten was rescued, taken home (once I realised where I was), fed, given some warm cat milk, and put onto my bed (electic blanket switched on).
And after she scoffed loads of food and milk, and warmed up some more, she discovered the 1001 cat toys that I have for my other 3 cats, she played untill she could play no more :D

So I got new cat, that follows me everywere, wants fussing all the time, and loves a big cuddle when I'm in bed :)

So both me and Kitten had a good Christmas.
I did get a prezzy from the kitten (on the bedroom floor), when I came back from my friends sisters.
But meh it was her 1st day here, and was probably not sure where the litter tray way.
That was her only prezzy on the floor, she knows where cat suff is now, and is already bossing the other 3 about :)

Mind you I think for next christmas I'll mooch for a GPS, as geez I get lost taking the rubbish out :P

Then again if I had not got lost a 3am christmas morning, ikkle kitty would probably have died, as it was -4'c then, and kitty was weak when I found her.
