I must admit I like to see churches like this and go in and explore. I'm looking forward to having a camera when I go next to try and capture some of wonderful images like blarg's - good shots there blarg.

This is a church that I took some pictures of in the middle of Kansas, it is called the Cathedral of the Plains. It is rustic but appears to have been build with love. I did not go inside, but it has two Rose Windows. I have several other view if anyone would like to see them.



I am still learning how to post and I mixed this into someone eles work and I am sorry.

I'm quite happy for you to mix your church with my oak tree Pellinore. I am quite fascinated by old churches and like to go in them whenever I can. I'm always amazed by the architecture and the sense of so much having happened in and around them over the years and the people who may have been there before me. I'm not particularly religious myself and haven't been inside a church to take part in a service for many years - my church is more likely to be under the oak tree you have included above ;)

'tis funny too, I also got a few Canadian winter water fun shots today ;)



... had to wait a few for *THE SYSTEM* to transmutate-ify another toob, but it just now finished.
We are currently under a snow alert warning, and "A SHARP COLD FRONT WILL CROSS SOUTHERN ONTARIO OVERNI"
... bla bla bla ...
it just went through ~90mins ago 8PM et
It hit just after another snow-pellet attack, started as rain, froze on the way down but not in flake form
roads wet
sudden freeze
Turn sound up @ first, milk tanker stops going uphill, as 2 cars further up
are not being overly successful going up slippery road. Tanker 2 does not
want to stop - and goes onto the other side of the road, tanker 1 is now
spinning, 3 cars are spinning ...The next 2 speak for themselves, turn sound
down for the 3rd part - I'm really surprised the engine didn't blow ...

LOL hey just thot - nothin' personal Ice, but i wasn't thinkin' of you LOL,
I was thinkin' it was more like laurel and hardy/cheech n chong ... nice
dreams ... squealing tires on ice ...

We *did* have a nice sunrise .... yesterday ... lol :)

the slight camera icing issue was taken care of about 5
minutes after these were taken lol
a half-kilo chunk du glacee fell from above onto the cam.
Knocked it off kilter, was fun fixing it in a -25c blast o cold :o
