Still some Cricket bandwidth problems Try, run cmd, at command prompt type: ipconfig /flushdns then go back to BOINC Manager and retry downloads etc. (worked for me, on two computers) To close DOS window type: exit |

i'm still waitng for more to down load, i'm out of work for one of my computers. The system hadn't recovered from the weekly outage when there was another even longer outage. The network traffic's been at 63Mb/s for 10+ hours; there's plenty of work Ready to Send, it's just the network bottleneck that's causing the download problems at the moment. Once the load drops off, then the downloads will come as easily as they usually do. Grant Darwin NT |

Clearly becoming a common problem. I have a few WU results ready to upload but get the following - 29/02/2008 14:22:32|SETI@home|Started upload of 13dc06ad.21859.12751.8.7.131_0_0 29/02/2008 14:22:54||Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site 29/02/2008 14:22:54|SETI@home|Temporarily failed upload of 13dc06ad.21859.12751.8.7.131_0_0: http error 29/02/2008 14:22:54|SETI@home|Backing off 3 min 11 sec on upload of 13dc06ad.21859.12751.8.7.131_0_0 As others indicate, a fairly recent problem. We will have to wait another 2 to 2.5 hours before the team are in for work. The Cricket graph looks OK, so there may be a bottleneck? At least this happened now and not after they had gone home for the week end. It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

Someone has applied the well-placed "boot" to the servers. Uploads now running again - but it is going to take a while for the validators to catch up, I guess. F. |

The Server Status page has stopped updating, the Cricket Graph is maxed out, and uploads won't. Thought it was time to bump. F. |

Why panic when the servers stops working during the weekend? Who expects them to work the whole weekend? /TB |

Definitely some issues with the upload servers, as I have quite a few results to rerurn. Never mind the cache(s) will keep the rigs busy for a few days It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

Yep..... Oh well, its quite a nice day, so I seem to have a little more time for a touch of 'retail therapy', than I thought! Yippeeee. Don't take life too seriously, as you'll never come out of it alive! |

Why panic when the servers stops working during the weekend? Who expects them to work the whole weekend? Hmmmm. Uploads are failing, but I seem to be getting downloads OK. |

Looks like one of the people have remotely kicked the servers. Uploads have now gone, results reported and some new WUs downloaded. Still I am OK for crunching. I have 40 day cache ready for the most foul break. It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

No wonder I've got so many pended. I've got Curmudgeon as my wingman on most of my pended stuff. "Average Turnaround: 37 days" LOL, just teasing TC. I was actually wondering, though, if anyone has ever put together a BoincStats type utility to show your pended credits? I was thinking it'd be nice to see a list of all my pending credits with information about the wingman's RAC, and/or last contacted date. That way, I could get a feel about how many of my pended credits are gonna be stuck waiting for a deadline to pass before the WU will get re-assigned... Right now, it's tedious pulling up the pended credits, peeking at the wingman's hostid and checking up on it's recent info on BoincStats. (All just to satisfy idle curiosity...) |
