Getting a whole slew of these, but just on one sytem. Have RESET the project many times (SETI@HOME) Unless you have a different problem, rebooting the computer will 'restart' your tasks i.e. SETI crunching. More info please. |

Getting a whole slew of these, but just on one sytem. Have RESET the project many times (SETI@HOME) Ok, first without being able to actually see your computers all we can do is guess and ask questions trying to pull out information to base a diagnosis on. So What OS are you running? and are you running any kind of spyware/antivirus software. Windows Vista has a known problem with BOINC running in the "default" location of C:\\Program Files\\. If this is the case, uninstalling BOINC and reinstalling to another directory solves the problem. Also some antivirus/spyware programs see the files created and modified by BOINC/SETI as either spyware or viruses and blocking them from being accessed. You might need to specify to such programs that BOINC/SETI are trusted programs and allow them to "do their thing". Hope this helps...
