WUs have 3 limits. Maximum number of errors, maximum number of successes, and maximum total tasks. If any of these are exceeded the WU is kicked out ot the system. In the case of that particular WU, I would like to note the following:

max # of error/total/success tasks 5, 10, 5
errors Too many error results

After the task that is currently running on one computer that WU is history.

Greetings!
Best wishes for a hot coffee, cool beer, or a really good CPA..

Anyway..
What happens to a WU when "too many error results"
shows up?

For example,
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=166700477

Outcome:Client Error; Client State:Compute Error
From 9 Oct thru 30 November, all users show failure.
(Except for one pending.)

The error was handled OK.
No complaints.
Just wonder about how the wu is handled?
Does it eventually get kicked out?

Thanks,
Best wishes,
Jay
