David

As Martin mentioned there are places where you might recieve answers faster.

From the standpoint of Seti and most Other Projects the work they send is designed so that a computer(s) "do not" have to be left on 24/7/365 (thus the deadline is calculated). Seti has more data than there are enough users to crunch.

As for asking a question directly to a Project Developer that is tougher. They have many things to do and most have more email than they can deal with daily. Some of those things in the "inbox" are critical to the operation of the project. So in cases like that, I would suspect that it was seen and just not acknowledged. It is not disrespect but priority.

Regards

Al

why do we not get feedback to our e-mails-otherwise why should we run our computers all through the night. at least give us 'some' feedback. david

Have you an inventory of what type of hardware you need as of this posting? I would really like to help out but don't want to donate anything that would not be useable...Thanks...Kevin

Kevin

With things going on in moving servers and getting things ready to put in place Matt has been busy. I hate to tell you to be patient when we know more needs to be done. If you want to Private Message me I will send you an email address to open conversation and see what I can dig out in the mean time.

Thank You

Al

I'm sure the project appreciates it :)

Yes, search for SETI@home and you'll find it in groups-tab. Also BOINC, Einstein, Cosmology and teams can be found.
