Scotch Mist is Drambuie and Cornish Mead ... it would be better to call it Celtic Mist.

Well, we are getting our 2nd storm of the year. This one is supposed to dump 1-2 feet of snow for the ski area's. This is a much needed storm to get the ski season off to a good start. Right now, its raining where I work/live.

Anyhow, back to work, hope your all well.

We had about 2.5 inches of snow yesterday and then it froze over night so highways were very slick. But I made it in to work without incident 9.5 miles in 35 minutes.

We had about the same fall here, wasn't bad though, our sand trucks were out in full force doing a darn good job clearing roads and highways. However, its now freezing, and roads are turning slick here.

Boreal Ski Resort today reported they got 24 inches of new snow from this storm, which made many many skiers happy.

Couple others got at least 1 foot of new snow overnight and into today. I prefer the snow to stay up in the mountains.

Our sand trucks sanded the main intersections first and then started on the rest of the streets. by the afternoon the streets were fairly dry (it got up to about 36 F) so the drive home was uneventful.

LOL Well, home is calling my name, gonna leave, lock in my 4 wheel drive, and slide my way home. :-) Only a mile away, but still, I gotta go up a hill, and down a hill, and hills with ice just don't play good. See ya!

Not that cold over here, and has turned to high winds and rain. But we did get the gritting (salt grit) lorries out on the Main and A roads last night.

Makes you want to stay in front of a large wood log fire with a coffee of brandy, and snuggle?
