Yeah, I hear you. LOL I've got three banks to go to for my Dad, I've got to pick up medicine from a pharmacy (again EEK!), I've got to go grocery shopping for him for the week. I've got to go buy some new winter tires, Tomorrow I mustn't forget my optholmogist appointment for myself. You know how it goes: sometimes you're running around so much for someone else you forget what you were supposed to do for yourself. LOL

LOL You sound as busy as me. :-) Oh well, its something that we have to do. :-)

@Tim,
LOL I Wish it was a vacation. Too damn stressful as of lately. We are so short handed I'm working anywhere between 40-80 hours a month extra overtime. Don't get me wrong, the checks are nice, but damn, I don't even have time to see my family much anymore. :-(

I know what long hours are all about. I used to work in the film industry and my average day was 16 hours. a short day was 12 hours and a long day was over 20 hours. As for the running errands that can be even more tiring than work, having to deal with all the lines especially at this time of year.

Hehe, I hear you about those long days. I used to work in the "narrow fabric" industry making material for suspenders, seat belts, tie down straps, or anything 1/4 inch to 3 inches wide that can be woven. Since I was not only a shift supervisor, but also the "lead setup man" for the entire factory I was subject to recall at any time if any of the other shifts had problems or another supervisor couldn't show up for work for any reason. Many times I would just get home (my preferred shift was the second, 4:00 until 12:00) and get ready for bed when I would receive a phone call that I was needed back at work. It was a 45 minute drive to work but it might only take me 5 minutes to fix the problem then another 45 minute drive back home! Other times I have pulled as much as 36 hours straight to get a particularly important machine back into production. And since we only had three qualified shift supervisors I would spend many 16 hour days covering one of the other shifts along with mine!

Yeah, that is what hurts. You do your job and then you have to do the job for the others as well.
