For those of you with PS3's

Already there. =;^) 3000-4000 points per day. Also yoyo@home uses the SPEs, and will generate 2000-3000 PPD.

I've had my PS3 crunching since only early July, and has already generated 329,000 between the two projects.

Hey, that's neat, the USB installation... I just installed Yellow Dog a couple of days ago and put BOINC on mine, not as easy as the USB thing, but it works.

Now I just wish there was a PS3 Seti App, Linux or not. With the price coming down, I may eventually buy one(a used 60GB model). :D

Actually, I've given that a thought as well.

I am currently running the PS3GRID release of YDL with Boinc. Just wondering if there as been any headway with a SETI app that actually uses the Cell SPEs correctly yet?

Any links would be wonderful, if any type of project like this does exist.

There is an SETI application for the PS3. Please look at this thread : http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=39910

As Gaurav has stated in this thread, the fft analysis (the most computationally intensive part) is done on the SPEs.
