Yep. You're just one of the guys! (In America, even women use the term for a group of women or men and women).

That's not to say you aren't one of the special guys, though. :]]

haha.. mmhh.. and who is the special guys then? I wish i knew.. lol. I am somehow very afraid i may have lost something important here.. hehe

Oh, I wouldn't worry about losing something important here, if I were you. ;]

C'mon, admit it: you have an hourglass shape don't you? LOL

.. why should i admit anything? ;-)

You don't have to admit anything. Your obvious brains gives you away.

I'm no hourglass. It's a good thing I'm not a woman!

[Edit]: You should have a look in at Rocky's Original Cafe, Moon. People would be glad to say hello to you there. :]]

Beets...It looks pretty good to me...As long as you don't put the black pudding too close to the food.

It looks like I need to come in for a breakfast?

Hullo, John!

I'm delighted, just delighted to have you here!!! I am still so taken with the many lovely luncheons you have shown us here, that the least I can do is offer you my warmest greetings and hope that you will enjoy the breakfast here.

If there's anything I can do to make your visit here more enjoyable, please let me know!

It's Mother Winter tossing snow on us again here. I hope your weather looks more favorable. :]

The weather up here is gorgeous warm and sunny now.

Hope the snow is not too deep!
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

It's not too bad, John. Just enough to slip in over my blue suede sneakers and give me soakers. LOL

(I guess it's time to take out the old Austrian Winter Boots and start to Spit and Polish them, huh?)

DreamFlyer a prize winner
HONOURS: B.C. companies collect Consumer Electronics Association kudos
BY PAUL LUKE BUSINESS REPORTER

A young Kelowna company that makes a flight simulator is one of two B.C. companies to grab prestigious awards yesterday from the U.S.-based Consumer Electronics Association.

Kelowna-based FMS Flight Motion Simulators Inc. and Richmond-based Edifier Enterprises Canada were honoured by the association at a New York ceremony for their product innovations.

Flight Motion makes the DreamFlyer, a flight simulator that looks like an extended lawn chair but gives users the aerial ride of their lives when hooked up to simulation software such as Microsoft Flight Simulator X Acceleration. Unlike more costly simulators that rely on hydraulics and motors, the $2,800 DreamFlyer harnesses the user’s own motions to drive the experience.

Movements forward, back or to either side are translated by a sensor beneath the chair into joystick movements for the computer.

The simulation software interprets the information and the user watches the results in real time on a monitor mounted on the front of the aluminum chassis.

“From the time they’re children and they see birds, people want to fly but not everyone is able to do it,” Flight Motion CEO Rahul Lakhote said. “This is something everyone can use.” The DreamFlyer’s market ranges from gamers and air cadets to pilots, airlines and museums, Lakhote said.

The company, which started in May, sells the device over the web at http://mydreamflyer.com.

The DreamFlyer was designed by Penticton inventor and Flight Motion shareholder George Holloway.

Edifier Canada, a unit of Hong Kong-based Edifier Group, was recognized in the audio components category for its Rainbow wireless receiver system and its E-3350 multimedia speaker.

The $199 Rainbow, which uses infra-red technology, will hit the market early next year, as will the $99 E-3350, which is designed for PCs, laptops, notebooks and mp3 players.

Both companies will exhibit their winning products in January at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the world’s largest consumer-electronics trade show.

I am back

;-)

Simple Things

There is beauty in the landscape,
And the ever changing seas,
There is solace in a garden,
If we only try to be,
Just a little more contented
With the simple things in life,
And a little less dejected
When things don’t go just right.
So tuck away your troubles
In a corner on a shelf,
And just forget about them
And see how much 'twill help,
And remember when you're weary,
Tired out and blue,
The sun will soon come smiling
Through the drab and greyish hue.
Look for pleasures in your garden
There are many there you know,
There’s a joy in every flower,
In every breeze that blows,
And these make compensation
For all lifes cares and woes.
-----------------------------

Here`s to you guys ;-)
