Yet when i check my tasks it has only 4 task showing? please let me know as to why and how i make the according changes. 1) There is a limit on the settings for work queue, 10 days for Connect Every X, and 10 days for extra work. 2) Increasing Connect Every X has the effect of making the computation deadline earlier by that amount as the computer may not be connected to the internet for that period of time. 2a) If a task may not meet deadline, then the project that the task is in will not be allowed to fetch work to avoid making a bad situation worse. Do not try to get 20 days worth of work. Set Connect Every X to be reality (if you expect to connect to the internet every 2 days, set Connect Every X to be 2 days). Set extra work for a little bit as you really don't need a queue of 20 days worth of work. BOINC WIKI |
