Regarding the topic: Short of the obvious (donating money or decent hardware to the SETI@Home folks at Berkeley), how about some other ideas? I'll open with the following suggestion: If anybody out there is looking to unload some hardware for a good cause, check this organization out: Keep on crunching, all... I want it to work with dsl. but even 56k would work just to make it 'go'. I've got a sound card I don't need and numerous other spares.
