For those that don't know, my mom is in the hospital with very bad lung problems. She is on a ventalator, but is doing very well. Spoke to the nurses a few hours ago, they said that she is resting well, and they are in the process over the next couple of days to slowly take her off of the ventalator. She's been a non-stop smoker since she was little, and now its catching up to her. This is the worst my mom has ever been. So, for those of you that smoke, concider stopping. Its a horrible habit, but it can be beat. My step mom did it almost 2 years ago now. Anyhow, off to take care of my kids, and hopefully make a trip to the hospital tonight once traffic calms down. No updates tonight. They are just letting her rest, and will try again with weening her off the ventalator tomorrow again. Unfortunately I have to work, but the hospital does have my cell number, so if they need anything, they can always get me. After work I'm gonna head straight down, and see how things are going. Fell on my face a few times at first, but stuck with it, still think about it, but it's easy to put it out of my mind. I've still got chronic bronchitis because of 30+ years of that stuff.
