I never claimed to be a prophet, just smarter than you, as has been pointed out by another user. When you grow up, you'll find out there's more to the paper than the Sunday Funnies. |

True Arnold cannot run for President, and much to his credit he doesn't think that rule should be changed. However, his term as governor ends at the same time as senator Barbara Boxer. I'm hoping when the time comes he runs for her seat in the senate. Will he then be the Senanator? |

I added a Daddio Comic here but judged it to be too mean spirited-even if only poking fun. It will be an interesting Election Season |

...boy, oh boy, ya gotta love sound bites taken out of context. With George W. Bush you can use whole paragraphs...but that's another topic. Fairly soon, the politicos are going to start bombarding us with TV sound bites with a combined war chest of over $3 billion. The funny thing is, that in a recent CNN poll, 91% of respondants said that these political commericals don't make them vote any differently. What a circus... :D To be fair, I'm not a fan of Hilary's and I think that we are getting her shoved down our throats, along with the rest of the Beltway cliques from both parties. Wake up America...! Account frozen... |

"(We) ...can't just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people." "I certainly think the free-market has failed." "I think it's time to send a clear message to what has become the most profitable sector in (the) entire economy that they are being watched." If our free market economy has failed, then how is there a "most profitable sector"? Seems to me our free market economy has been wildly successful for those willing to take a chance instead of sitting on their butt waiting for the government to take care of them....and if she didn't see it, she wouldn't think we needed to take (steal from the successful) something from them... Universal health care indeed.... |

When you grow up, you'll find out there's more to the paper than the Sunday Funnies. Is it raining? Should I take umbrage? Seriously though, as a most minor member of Team Hillary, I can tell you her campaign to win the nomination is looking good. In two respects especially: the cash keeps rolling in, and it's amazing to me how many women are getting behind her. Love her or leave her, she's got some serious support. ;] |

You mean other than being a Dumbocrat, remaining married to an adulterer and only the 3rd man in US history to face impeachment and trying to push a health care plan that will be paid for by the working man and utilized by those without real jobs? En Garde! Apart from the scandal, President Bill Clinton did a great deal of good for the United States, its citizens, the reputation of America in the world, and... he didn't screw up his intervention in Serbia-Croatia the way President Bush is screwing up in Iraq. Your objections to Bill Clinton are petty. |

As an outsider looking in, I support these comments. The world reputation of the US, under Clinton, was good. Since Bush Junior got in it gone very far south. It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

Was listening to today's Simon Mayo BBC Radio 5Live podcast earlier, he interviewed Dr Frank Luntz (former pollster for the Republican Party) who seemed to think a Clinton presidency very likely. This piece in last week's Economist ends: All told, she looks likely to translate this into both the Democratic nomination and a victory in November 2008. But whether a Clinton restoration will be good for America is a much more difficult question. Seems some on the right have already given up on a Republican winning the White House in 2008. Personally I think, provided she doesn't make a hash of things a la Howard Dean, the nomination is hers. The White House I'm not so sure about. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

(steal from the successful) typical excuse of the poverty stricken....you got a job yet or are you still stealing from the taxpayers? |

Yeah, the world smiles when Clinton ignored embassy and battleship bombings, Bush takes the war to their homeland and the world frowns....like we care |

Yeah, the world smiles when Clinton ignored embassy and battleship bombings, Bush takes the war to their homeland and the world frowns....like we care Ignored by sending cruise missiles into Afghanistan and Sudan? Of course they missed their targets, but then they were sent to destinations picked by the never inaccurate US intelligence services, you know the ones that said that Hussein had acquired masses of WMD (where are they again?). I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

Of course they missed their targets, but then they were sent to destinations picked by the never inaccurate US intelligence services, you know the ones that said that Hussein had acquired masses of WMD (where are they again?). Do you know what editorializing is, Bobby? Haven't you seen the quotes from the Russians, the Tchermanns, the French, and swarms of them from the Democrats as well? All of the intelligence agencies, Western and otherwise believed that. Many of them believed that what wasn't found was destroyed. Mostly because not only did he have the stuff, he USED THE STUFF, against Halabja and Iran among others. How about these: And: The intelligence agencies said he had these too. Of course, he said he didn't, he said he destroyed them as well. Is this an oops? Which would you have destroyed, the relatively easily replaceable chemicals? Or would you just have gone ahead and destroyed the utterly irreplaceable MiGs? Sand Trap. Cordially, Rush elrushbo2@theobviousgmail.com Remove the obvious... |
