I'd greatly appreciate some recommendations! I don't seek simplicity (either in writing style or subject), but I'd like to begin with a well-rounded introductory book. I'm greatly intrigued by Sagan's persona and personal beliefs, so I'd enjoy a book which touched upon these aspects of his output. Thank you very much in advance! Have a great Sunday, everybody... Sagans out of date. read a cool book like Lonesome Dove or Shogun. Let the aliens worry about the cosmos |

Depends on what genre you are interested in. I really don't recommend him as a philosophic thinker. Having said that I'd probably recommend 'The demon haunted world'. Or perhaps 'Cosmos'. It's relatively benign but old in its science. Founder of BOINC team Objectivists. Oh the humanity! Rational people crunching data! I did NOT authorize this belly writing!
