My pendings have halved in the last four days. Maybe that's from crunching all that Einstein that loaded into my cache during the last breakdown and that I'm now just finishing crunching. I notice that my RAC hasn't dropped as fast as the pendings but that's to be expected due to the RAC's delayed indication. |

Eventually the rack should catch up to the 28Kish number reported on the page then? Well then I'm going to have to do my best to keep adding hosts LOL... I don't like flat.. unless it's a flat line at 0 and represents the money I owe the government. |

Eventually the rack should catch up to the 28Kish number reported on the page then? At first, you'll see your RAC line shoot almost straight up. Over time the line will gradually turn flat. RAC takes 4-6 weeks to stabilize. Dublin, California Team: SETI.USA

Kiva that link is fantastic.. thank you so much. It's actually very helpful of letting me seeing I was having a hard time judging (i.e. what my TRUE RAC would be if everything that went into pending got creditted in real time..) Eventually the rack should catch up to the 28Kish number reported on the page then? |

You'll have to arm yourself with some patience ;-) Pending credit is stored safely in the vault. Your credit/hour rate says that you'll end up with a RAC of some 28K. This matches your pending credit at the moment. Most heavy cruncher are in the same boat with pendingcredits equal to or up to 25% higher than their stable RAC. You can see your pendingcredit and estimated credit/hr here at this nais site: www.andyk.de/boinc/pc.php. Select your project and punch in your ID (which can be seen in your avatar). Remember to tich on the options (specially the 'credit/hr') - and wait a few minutes for the result to show up. Regards Kiva Greetings from Norway Crunch3er & AK-V8 Inside |

Here's the up to date one: In addition to not being 100% seti on all machines until the 27th, the period between 9/5 and 9/11 was the weekend seti had NO work and I ran another project after the wells ran dry. |

So, where is your RAC now would be the thread. Figure out how many days you've been running and then count in the number of days. Remember, the first 5 days of the chart were only partial participation of some of my hosts running linux. It wasn't until the 27th that all hosts were participating fully. (I had a cache of other project work to drain). |

I know Astro did some work on this topic, but it's buried in another thread now that I can't seem to find. Your stats show you were crunching 1500-2000/day up until just two days ago, where it spiked to ~15,000 both days. So before you had 2-3 days worth of pending, at your old rate. Now you have 2-3 days worth of pending, at your new rate. Sounds pretty constant to me. Dublin, California Team: SETI.USA

I know Astro did some work on this topic, but it's buried in another thread now that I can't seem to find. Are other folks experiencing a big spike in pending the last couple of days? Did everyone turn up their cache size with the last batch of short WUs and server outages? My pending is increasing in lock-step with my creditted almost.. at least at a rate of 50% of my creditted. I'm up to nearly 27K pending and I'm pumping out around 15-18K a day. In two days I've gone from 5K pending to 27K pending and logged around 32K creditted. Which seems a tad excessive. Anyone else? |
