Er, I'm not sure now!

Well I won't mention the companies concerned, as you will definitely know of them(Being in the UK)

On one occasion, we had delivered a leather 3 piece suite to a customer in Lowestoft, & with his agreement we pulled off 1 3& half hour April's fool which got us an almighty rollicking.

After delivery, I phoned the office & told them the the customer was going ballistic because we delivered the wrong colour suite.

They then called the customer who kept the prank going & at approx 11am, we had to call it a day. When we got back to the depot, I was called into the office, & even then I could not help but laugh.

They get better. I had a new oppo one week, & we had a kingsize bed to deliver in Gloucester. On arrival, the customer( A cracking filly) told us she wanted it upstairs, I instantly replied, what about the bed?

She couldn't stop giggling & stated that if she offered, I would run a mile. I told her that she was correct, but the only running I do was in the bedroom. She wanted proof & instead of taking taking approx 10/15 minutes for delivery it took 45. unfortunately, my oppo reported me (Envious devil)

The best ever was the water bed...I'll leave that one to your imagination.

The really best ever deliveries for pranks & rewards were in Oxford...But I CANNOT even mention them here. (Sheer Adult content) THEY were absolute crackers!

Hi Mike

I've managed to edit it, please let me know if this is acceptable & please accept my apologies. I totally forgot about being kid friendly.

On closer examination, I see some suspicious looking leaves over The Grim Reaper's shoulders and the smoke coming from the ... cigarette (?) ... is green ... .

I do believe they may be Maple leaves, which might be appropriate given the Genteman's Team?

I noticed the sig/team, but I guess Sirius B will have to confirm or deny.

I'm afraid the leaves are most definitely not maple leaves. If this is allowed, it may appear as if SETI is encouraging or approving of cannabis.

Good film that...starring Don Ameche - 1942 I think.

Had problems accessing original team. Gave it up & decided to look for another.

Found 2 good ones Oh Canada & Paddy's In Space. Both green coloured.

Crazy Irishman living in the UK supporting Canada!!!

Reminds of that crazy Canadaian lass in Abington - WHAT a filly!! Oppo reported me for that 1 as well. Jealous idiot.

Well, you know the old saying - THE Customer ALWAYS comes 1st.......

Thanks for being a killjoy. For everyone's information as drugs have been mentioned. I can truthfully say the following:-

1: I DO NOT USE DRUGS!

2: I don't even know what it looks like!

3: I DETEST DRINK & DRUGGED Drivers as they have killed my 1st wife in 1989 & my mother in 1997.

Nothing against you personally Ozzfan - It's my most hated subject & 1 of the main reasons why I gave up my lorry driving job even though I thoroughly & genuinely enjoyed it.

I complained to my boss about my oppo's being drunk & smoking dope in the cab, but nothing was done about it.

I value my life & health, so bye bye job.

Unfortunately, It could be grown in my garden & I honestly wouldn't know.

That lifestyle has never interested me & have had no desire to even research the subject. When I was at school there was no drug culture as there is today & we were taught properly unlike the youth of today.

I am unaware of Amercian school culture so cannot comment.

My primary school was run by nuns & secondary school was run by francesan brothers - Both schools, very fair BUT very strict as well.

I still like the avatar, so will have to try & edit the leaves out.

How about this guys?

@Sister Edith

At the time, all the kids hated it. However looking back, it was terrific teaching. If you are like that, keep it up because when the kids you teach look back, they will agree.

Don't blame it on today's kids. It's been around a long time and more people were and are doing that than some of us imagine.
As for Franciscan schools: I'm not Catholic, but for my freshman year I went to a Catholic college on a full-tuition scholarship. Alcohol was very present there and marijuana was there as well. Trust me. It was there. Over 20 years ago.

I knew a lot of kids in my area where I grew up that went to a Catholic school. Some went to Catholic after attending public schools. According to them, it was much easier obtaining drugs and alcohol in the Catholic school than it was in public schools.

I don't see the need for such sarcasm. While it may not immediately be the only conclusion some people draw, certainly it's an easy to see conclusion that's hard to argue with.

But hey, final word isn't up to me. If the Admins don't want it, or the other Mods deem it inappropriate, then that's it. No need to make such a big deal of it, just move on.

Sorry Sarge, I hope I did not come across as condescending, it was not my intention.

I personally think it is/was down to the kids themselves. Fortunately for me, after leaving primary school, most of the kids that attended went to 1 of three schools in the area, & believe it or not, all 3 secondary schools were within a quarter of a mile of each other.

Because of that, we continued with the same friendships & were more interested in sport - i.e., cricket, football, tennis. Outside of school hours, we had our own little groupset, & on no occasion did drugs enter the picture.

In other words, we kept ourselves occupied with the things we enjoyed & interested in (& as we got older - girls) - we had no time to waste on matters that either did not concern or interest us.

Regards
