Before you throw in the towel, can you give us a chance to take a look at it now? Even though there have been problems getting through to the project off and on over the whole summer, something is definitely not right here. The fact you can post here shows you should be able to connect and get work once we figure out what went wrong. I'm going to assume you have tried resetting, detaching/reattaching etc.. So as a start, if you could fire up BOINC fresh and then copy/paste the contents of the message tab here, that would be helpful to get started troubleshooting. Alinator ID: 627611 ·

Now that you've found (almost - this is 'Getting started') the correct place to ask for help, would you like to do so? Perhaps you could outline the problem for us, and maybe fire up BOINC so you can copy the first few lines from the 'Mesages' tab. It has to have the work unit to tell which application it needs to run it (in case there is more than one application, which in this case there isn't.)
