Does SETI have a website that lists the current status (Green and Red dot)of the servers etc ?

Your not alone here I have been trying to upload for about 2 hrs. now with no luck. I was part of the Beta test group for this but it looks like some one changed things when they opened SETI@Home to the public.

You're not the only ones.

I've tried uploading a completed unit 17 times already and the machine at the other end just doesn't want to know..

Typical!!!

Thierry Van Driessche write to me:

"The scheduler was offline during several hours.
Actually, the servers are online again.
Due to this, a lot of hosts are trying to connect now.
Just have some patience, it should become normal again."

Message 28548 - Posted: 21 Sep 2004, 5:46:48 UTC - in response to Message 25693.

I'm having troubles too. Since I upgraded to version 4.09 I can't upload anything.

I'm getting this in the messages:

--- - 2004-09-21 15:27:29 - Can't resolve hostname setiathome.berkeley.edu (valid name, no data record of requested type)
SETI@home - 2004-09-21 15:27:29 - Couldn't read master page for SETI@home: error -113
SETI@home - 2004-09-21 15:27:29 - Master file fetch failed
SETI@home - 2004-09-21 15:27:29 - Deferring communication with project for 4 days, 18 hours, 27 minutes, and 4 seconds

Anyone know if this is a v4.09 issue or the servers?

Sounds more like a firewall problem to me. Did you let your firewall know you have a new version of BOINC now?

I'm having lots of problems with upload when WU are finished. The server rejects all my results!

What's going on? At the moment my computers are working for nothing!... I may consider detaching from Seti@home.

I don't have the same behaviour with LHC or CPN, they are just working fine.
Please find the bug...
