Sorry, but many Seti Beta testers were the first to identify the issue. It dates back to Early Feb 2007 when early testing of MultiBeam was happening. What you are showing is Eric's and their efforts to get the problem identified before it just slapped everyone here. For one Forum Thread in Beta... -9's "IS" causing issues with Daily Quotas or 300 WU all - 9 overflow Triplet count 31 ar 12 You are welcome to go look and research... The News tells many things, it does not tell of the work of many or troubled hours in Beta so that this post can happen... WELL DONE to All the Seti Beta Testers... Thank You Eric and The Engineers!

I can't wait for when the final app will be released over here, and people start to look at the graphic and see all those spikes. I'll bet we'll get many many questions about if they have found ET. I was hurried and did not have time to link to Kevin's posts about SETHI etc. and Matt's posts about NitPkr... The last Donation push brought enough money and hardware in that some of the long standing things about "Where is the Science" is happening in there own time... They have most of the hardware and the software is being worked on. I also know that database changes have been and are being made to account for many things that are required... That is the Effort of Many! So to Quote "the algorithm" It is everyones efforts that have kept Seti Alive, I tip my Hat to Everyone that has Helped! I acknowledge those that wish they could but do not have the resources... So as I see avatars that say "something about Seti Citizens" and some of the things said I have to wonder... You are For Seti, or Personal Interests.. Seti Donation$ are for Survival. Seti is Users Helping Users. Seti is a Volunteer Donation of computer time. MultiBeam will bring more information from areas of the sky to Search and a better chance at finding ET. Astropulse (in Seti Alpha/Beta) gives the chance at finding more... Sometimes, "we forget" our objectives... Or Quote When You are up to your ass in Aligators, it is hard to remember the original objective was to drain the swamp! End Quote

And let's not forget how much NEZ helped out with the BETA testing! me@rescam.org |
