It is about dinner time. I think I am gong to see if I can find a beer to go with the chicken I see on the rotisserie.

MMM! MMM! MMM!

Now that's what I call a good selection!

Bon Apetit!

@ Longshanks: I'm doing good this weekend, and you too, I hope. :)

@ Fuzzy: Thanks! That looks like an interesting article. I'll read through it later.

I'm having a quiet weekend, but a very pleasant one. We now have a Beethoven's Cafe patio...

Should I have salmon or shrimp with spaghetti tonight? I'm undecided.

Heh. You must've read my mind, Monday. That's exactly what I had. :)

It was quick an easy to make, too.

I'm one of those few who never gossip! But I've already become subject of gossip several times - even of false accusations. All based on misunderstandings, I presume - I simply can't accuse others of evil intentions without serious reasons suspect this.

Hey Guys! I'm back from a little TV and a nap. The nap I wasn't counting on but it just happened.

Spaghetti bolognese is just the ticket sometimes. That's the tomato meat sauce, am I right? Yeah! That can be yummy alright!

Monday, I'm still impressed with your mind reading. LOL

Cody, I'm in the maritimes. C'mon down! Heheh

Thanks Knighmare!

I'm glad you like the place. That means you'll come back often, I hope. :)

Notice we've added an outdoor patio for people watching and partying!

I'll come back as often as I am able to. Keep in mind that Death has a tendancy to chase away business though....lol

Death will behave himself, ...or I'll kill him! LOL

Sounds like a "Family Guy" episode. :) Or "The Simpsons."

Beetz, that puts you way out on the Atlantic seaboard doesn't it. I'm about 90 miles from Vancouver, B.C. Always wanted to see the eastern coast but with my health now, I don't know. But I'd sure like to come "over" to your region sometime.

This just in....

The New Seven Wonders of the World:

Magnificent Seven: World names new wonders

SHELLEY EMLING
COX NEWS SERVICE

LONDON – The Great Wall of China, Rome’s Colosseum, India’s Taj Mahal and Brazil’s statue of Christ the Redeemer are among the new seven wonders of the world, according to the results of a global poll announced last night in Portugal.

Rounding out the list were Jordan’s Petra, Peru’s Machu Picchu and Mexico’s Chichen Itza pyramid.

About 100 million people from every country in the world cast their votes either online at http://www.new7wonders.com or by phone, according to representatives for the New 7 Wonders of the World campaign.

Swiss adventurer and millionaire Bernard Weber, who lived in Montreal for 20 years, began the campaign in 2000. His non-profit New7Wonders Foundation strives to foster cultural diversity by recognizing and restoring the world’s great monuments. It raises money through sponsorships, broadcast rights and marketing schemes.

More than 200 sites were originally nominated. Last year, the number was whittled to 21. (You can see them all on th link above). And yesterday, the final seven were named.

To refresh your memory about the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, see this link:

You know what this means, dontcha? It means that our very own Hiamps got to see one of the Seven Wonders during his recent trip to Mexico! :)

Where IS the new Groom-To-Be, anyways?

The fact that the pyramids of Giza were not included was asinine. The Egyptians have a saying "that man fears time. and that time fears the pyramids."
What was even worst with the voting was that anyone could vote, and vote often.
I other words... the entire process was a joke.

Heyas Dogbytes!

Welcome back, Darth!

I agree, I can't see the Egyptian pyramids not being part of the list. Have you gone to the http://www.new7wonders.com site? Some of those 21 semi-finalist sites look real interesting. And a couple of them I've never even heard of before.

I've heard of Petra though. Interesting ancient city, way up high in the mountains of Syria. :)

Sorry Beets, but Petra is in south west Jordan and not Syria. It took alot of work to accomplish, but no real engineering,
at least not on the level of the pyramids, the Great Wall of China, etc.
