Heh. I had the same experience signing about 400+ fundraising letters.

My signature's never been legible since. LOL

Did you sign all those letters the same day? :-O Then you know the feeling!

I signed about half of the letters yesterday and the rest today, and I had to take breaks while signing. And that was only 120! The stack of paper didn't seem to diminish.

But now the letters are out, and when I get back from my two weeks holiday starting from tomorrow, I guess there'll be a lot of mails and phone requests for more strips from the customers. It looks really good, and I made it really smart with the F-keys and all the combinations, shift, alt, ctrl, on the front, and on the backside, I have gathered the functions in groups, navigation, search, tools, etc. Most probably the backside will be used the most. I am quite proud of the result of my work.

UGH! Speaking of donations, once a year my family goes through our house and collects things such as unused toys, clothing, and stuff to haul off to the local charity for giveaway...we do that again this Saturday.

What a pain!!

Tell me about it! LOL

Last year I skipped it, but this year I'll have to get down to it. With stuff around here from 3 houses, things are getting piled up around here something fierce!

@ Fuzzy: I did it over a couple of days, but the sig has never been the same since. LOL

Good Morning, everyone!

For breakfast this summer morning, we're serving Eggs with Smoked Salmon, Dill and Lemon, and Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice.

Enjoy!

This just in...

Tiptoe Farm in Cornhill, Northumberland, was voted the "Most Beautiful Farm in Britain".

Take your pics of Tiptoe now; the landscape will soon be marred by a line of several wind towers the government intends to erect in the background. ;)

MOLO TEXTILE SOFTSEATING
Reshape your home with kiddie cubes, shape-shifting chairs and fantasy furniture

When is a chair not a chair? When it’s a folded pile of fabric. Vancouver design house Molo made a splash with its Softseating series – surprisingly strong stools and ottomans constructed from kraft paper, accordion-style. Now there’s a textile version ($130 to $5,490) made of soft polyethylene that looks just as organic, but fits the current trend for white furniture. And like their siblings, these modular pieces can be reshaped as you like.

Go to http://www.molodesign.com/en/products.html and click on "soft" at the right-hand side to see some of their creations.

I also thought this was fun: a Lego-style icecube tray. :)

It's cold and rainy around my Burgh today. :(

Where would you like to be today?

Me? I'd like to in Whitsunday, Australia, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.

I enjoy the Proms very much!

Darn it though! I've just looked and it isn't available live on any of my 150+ channels. :(

Maybe later they'll show a replay somewhere.

The 9th with it's "Ode to Joy" is one of the great choral pieces. My very favorite Symphony though, is the Fifth: especially the last 3:18 minutes of the 1st movement.

Not that I'm boasting, but brilliant music isn't it? Sheer Genius!

Beethoven was truly ahead of his time. The shear range of music he wrote and the way he developed over his lifetime I don't think are matched by any other composer.

I don't listen to it much. But I like "Jerusalem". That's a good one.

That wasn't written by Beethoven..it was Elgar I think. They usually play that on the last night.

Er, yes, the last night is the only one I watch. Rest is too boring. I like it when all the ticker tape comes down and the balloons go up.

That always surprises me. I think Elgar's "Pomp and Circumstance" march is better suited to the Proms. ;)
