Have not noticed any increased speed at all, did exactly as instructed, any ideas?

You 'may' have to reboot to make the Chicken Soup 'hot' :)

Great!, a good reboot of my system finally got my Soup 'cooking', problem solved, just one more thing, what results can I eventually expect (Credit, WU wise), or does that depend on the system?

If so:, Windows XP, SP 2, 760MB RAM, 2.8 (or 2.6) Ghz CPU, thanks.

Keep on Crunchin'

Well, for me, it was in the 50% improvement range, I'm sure it varies.

LOL...

Yeah, we should have told you up front you should shut down BOINC first when you are going to modify or add an app_info file. The CC only reads it in when it first initializes.

As Philly said, the Coop app should lop about half off your runtimes compared to stock more or less, depending on the angle range for the result.

Glad it worked well for you as anticipated.

Can't beat some Hot Chicken Soup, even though it's been 115 here in Phoenix :)

[edit: if you like hot dogs, @ noon today EST on ESPN is the traditional Nathan's hot dog eating contest @ Coney Island. They're trying to break the 'new' record of 59 1/2 hot dogs & rolls in 12 minutes, burrrrrrp.]

Those must not be real all-beef hot dogs. The speed @ which they're being inhaled makes me think they're Chicken dogs lol.
On a serious note - I reverted to old ver. or boinc (5.4.11) + the chicken app, after installing the *new* boinc. All my stats are going UP again :)
like take off eh! to The Great White North
