Eww... Did I just spot a 3-D time-independent Schrodinger Equation in that Video? |

Dude....if you want to attract women...try a bug zapper. Yes, that was a very clever 'burn'... It took me a couple of reads to 'get it'... Actually, many reads... ;) It may not be 1984 but George Orwell sure did see the future . . .

Yeah, I pretty much despise myspace. I also joined after much begging from old high school friends. But myspace allows people to create hideous abominations of profile pages. Things like full-picture backgrounds with illegible text over the top and 30 different audio/video clips that all start playing as soon as the page loads make me want to gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon. I log in a couple times a year to see whats going on but I dread it every time. I have to agree with what Toby says about Myspace, that people have no concept of creating an organized site. In fact, each person's profile is not a site, but one page and perhaps links to their pix, videos and blogs. As for the whole idea of Web 2.0, user-generated ... just like anything else produced, like Hollywood movies, music, newspaper editorials and so on, there's some great stuff, some good stuff, some mediocre stuff and some pure crap. Right? Who's got time to sort through a lot of it? Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

would you be enabling or disabling that plugin? That would depend on the flexibility of the plug-in preferences... ;) It may not be 1984 but George Orwell sure did see the future . . .

myspace allows people to create hideous abominations of profile pages. Based on what you said before, would you be enabling or disabling that plugin? |

myspace allows people to create hideous abominations of profile pages. If you disable your Plug-Ins, most of those 'hideous abominations' will go away... Too bad they don't have a 'Plug-In' to attract the ladies... ;) It may not be 1984 but George Orwell sure did see the future . . .

I log in a couple times a year to see whats going on but I dread it every time. Recently I got on to facebook and it seems much more sane. There is still plenty of user generated content and social networking going on but there are a few more guidelines that make for a cleaner and in my opinion more pleasant environment. And I too was surprised by how many people that I haven't spoken to in 5+ years have managed to find me on there. A member of The Knights Who Say NI! Things change rapidly on the internet Ahh yes.. MySpace... Where all the single gals invite you to join other 'paying' sites like True.com or Singles.net because they really wanna talk to you... Where women from all across the globe seem to easily spot your profile when nobody locally ever can... Where women from far away places want to be added to your friends list yet everyone locally shuts you down... Some things will never change... Hopefully, they will at least change 'out of the money making business'... But I'm not holding my breath on that one either... JEFF.com: Live, Learn, and Good Luck Finding Love on the Net... ;) It may not be 1984 but George Orwell sure did see the future . . .

Will MySpace always be the most popular, what do people on here think to it?? FACEBOOK has really taken off lately. An alternative to Myspace. Join The Assimilators Free Internet Radio! "The Assimilators" Browser Toolbar! |

Will MySpace always be the most popular, what do people on here think to it?? Oh and what do people think to open-source stuff in general, not just scripts and software, but operating systems too? Could open-source be the new commercial? |

Because of my friends, I am now on Myspace.com. All my friends begged me and begged me to get on there, so I did. Now I'm getting contacted by friends I haven't heard from in years. So its actually cool! This makes me want to watch this video and visit this myspage page |

Things change rapidly on the internet...The hottest thing going can fade in just a few years to be overtaken but the newest flavor of website...So i would hesitate to bet on the permanence of anything on the internet...or at least the perpetual popularity of anything... I'll check out your sites and see what you've got. PROUD TO BE TFFE! |
