I use more than one...AVG and Norton. I don't run them at the same time. Did that once and there was an issue with one thinking the other was a " virus-like " activity...lol Running them in sequence works pretty well though. I have had AVG catch things that Norton didn't, and vice versa. The best free one I found is/was AVG. When I first heard of AVG, I took out an old disk drive, scanned with Norton AV and the drive was declared clean. Scanned with AVG and AVG found 5 different viruses.
