Running this system with chicken soup 2.2B. The credits/hr vary quite a bit based on the AR, but it's getting between 20 and 32 Cr/hr vs 12 to 14 at Einstein.

Everything pretty much back to normal here. One 9x'er giving me some trouble at the moment on 2.2B MMX. Think that may be an OS issue though.

1 with MMX, 1 with SSE, and one with SSE2. All crunching normally now no troubles at all.

My MMX is a Dual PII 400MHz. was my first SETI cruncher, other than power failures and the bi-monthly cleaning it's been running non stop for 10 years.

Two of my three chickens are running just fine. The third seems to have problems resolving dns. It doesn't seem to matter if I flush the dns cache or reboot. But it's connecting every once-in-awhile so work gets done. I figure it will eventually settle in like the other two machines so I'm not worried.

Running Chicken app on both my machines. One of them has completed a work unit & reported successfully, waiting on the other to complete it's run. Don't foresee any problems.

Everything is up and running, but at less than 1/2 the rate that they were in April. I know RAC takes a while to stabilize, but other tracking methods are looking low, too. I'm sure I'm still running Chicken, but something seems amiss.

Are you running chicken soup on your core2 machine? I was looking at your seconds/cobblestone ratios and they look high compared to my core2, which is a slighly slower one.

There is nothing amiss at this point, as far as I can tell. There is a situation with the ghost WUs that will haunt us (no pun intended) for a number of weeks from now. Until the ghosties expire, results returned will be held up pending a quorum. And that, my friends, will take a few weeks for them to expire, be reissued, crunched, and returned.
All this depends on whether the servers stand muster or not.

2 rigs on Chicken 2.2b, 2 rigs on stock - just because
those last 2 are less than 2 credits/hr out of about
40/hr total - just not worth the overhead.

Did the app_info rename thing for a while, but put
it back as it should be about a week back, and for
the past several days all the retry uploads/dwnloads
have cleared out, caches staying topped off, full
steam ahead!

@Ghery - your lower RAC might be due to inordinate
amounts of pending credits due to ghost units - my 2
Chicken machines easily have twice as many WUs listed
on the server compared to what actually got DL'ed.
And the Andy K pages show lots more pending than normal.
Looks like it'll take till mid-June before those all
time out and get recycled.

Dave

ps. and my kitties pass regards to msattler's!

The kitties say 'Thank You'.
A. Pending credits will be high for power crunchers for a few weeks until the ghosties expire.
B. Ditch the 'app iofo' workaround, it is no longer needed, the server software hws been fixed.
C Forget about RAC scores ATM, they won't be able to totally recover until they start to issue some none-noisy WUs. And this is not likely to happen until they start to issue MB (Mulltibeam) WUs. (We can only hope).

Thanks all. My C2D machine (E6700, no overclocking) looks like it's running the normal stuff, it's just the stats on the various sites that are looking low. We'll see how things work out. The real screamer I had until the beginning of May was shifted over to real work (dual quad core Xeon machine, SETI RAC was running around 5000 with the Chicken apps), so I know where 5000 of my 8000 RAC went (sob), but I'm expecting the remaining machines to get back to around 3000 with the C2D contributing about 2000 of that. We'll see how things settle out.
