I'm with you, John. This doesn't impress me much.

2007 Ford Interceptor Concept

Concept looks too much like an actual Chrysler 300C to me, with the front end (grill, mainly, and bonnet) nicked from a Range Rover.

Looks like they liked the looks of the Chrysler, but needed to mod it slightly to try and put people off the accusation of having no original design ideas.

Ford, of late, has been much better than that!

From the stand point of this car looking like a 300c the top half does however the rest of the body is all ford. THe front grill looks nowhere near like the 300c. Also the back end of the car is different as well.

Maybe so, but I don't care for it at all. The front looks clunky and non-aerodynamic; it has no worthy style, imho.

But to each their own. Tastes are different.

Well the difference is:

Do you want something sexy that two people can shoehorn themselves into, or...

Do you want something comfortable that can easily handle four adults?

All these concept cars are beautiful, but the insurance on them would either
be prohibitve and you're need to use Lloyd's of London for some of these babes.
Then there's the idiots drving around without a license or insurance...and play the hit and run game!

I know, I know, if you could afford one, you probably could afford the insurance.

How prosaic.

It's the same as the stock response in the London Rolls Royce showroom

"If you need to ask the price sir, you can't afford it!"

That brings back a funny incident to me. Several years ago, I walked into a Rolls Royce showroom while on vacation in Florida. They refused to allow me a test drive unless my bank manager at home faxed a letter to them confirming that I could afford to buy one.

Thank goodness he lied on my behalf! Heehee

I had a female acquaintance that went to a Jaguar dealer once to buy a car. She showed up in blue jeans and a tee shirt. She was ignored for a good hour. WHen a sales man did show up, he was a bit condescending when asking what he could do for her. She said "I want that one". He said "Oh really? And how are you going to pay for it?. She said "How about cash?"

Judging a book by its cover is typically a mistake.
