Why doesn't the readme.txt file that is part of the installer package for Windows contain more bare-bones information than just the BOINC acronym expansion? At the very least, it could contain the URL/URI for posting questions and the notice that a person nees an account ID to do so. I didn't know of this requirement until I got to hunting around the various BOINC sites to find out how to submit THIS question!

Also, it might be desirable to list the bug fixes in the last three stable builds, based on version number such as 4.04, 4.05, 4.06, as well as issues that were known to need fixing with the latest build. This way, those of us who are slightly less brainy would have a better chance of figuring out if a new and odd or troublesome behavior on a host computer was likely to be from installation of BOINC software, or if something else might be causing it.
