I have got some new WUs created may 13 4:33.

Thanks for your awesome job guys.

I too, but now WUs are stopped again (from 1 hour) and in
any case in theese hours it was very hard to upload and download.

I see in the internet graphic chart that now we have an other stop

Now that's really nice to know!

Somehow I couldn't really imagine the team being able to relax over the weekend knowing there was a shiny new machine screaming to be installed...

I know that I just wouldn't be able to resist getting on with it, and then being able to enjoy a satisfying and well-earned break...

Wishing you luck in getting all the processes running again painlessly...
Andy.

yes it does sound exciting! Sort of like my first Harley.

The system is down again- there is no noetwork traffic at all.
Being Sunday, someone may be able to get things going again reomtely, otherwise it'll have to wait to Monday.
Considering we weren't expecting things to be up till Tuesday at the earliest, i don't think it's worth getting all worked up over this latest hiccup.

Servers were up for about 14 hours, they seem to have gone down again just before midnight Berkeley time.

Servers are fine, it looks like some issue of either routing or drive mapping (a plague they've had a lot, and seems to happen more under load, which there has been because of the outage).

You may be right, but "Last block split" has no numbers, and "Results ready to send" is 0. If results were being created but not sent then it should be >0.

Whereever the bottleneck is, I think we can agree that there are currently none being sent out.

I'm not too concerned personally as I have enough work on other projects for about 2 days, but when I enabled network access to upload other results SETI started to download 4 WUs that are all stuck at 0% in the Transfers queue. I have disabled "network access" again until I see a healthier Cricket graph.

I just got the optimized app from Optimized Seti@Home Apps installed on my "very first" experimental trial with Linux on a P4 laptop that has no hard drive, im using a Knoppix 2.6 live cd, pretty cool....my little Pentium M runs at 1.4Ghz with an optimized app also and outruns my Athlon XP 2800+ 2.8 Ghz! So I cant wait for more units to come in and see how this little Pentium 4 with an optimized app does... woot!woot!

The same here. Previous to reading these posts I even reset the project with no luck. Obviously I
should of checked here first. It does seem strange though to have named potential downloads
listed but unable to complete the rest of the download.

At least there is action.

Rise up this mornin,
Smiled with the risin sun,
Three little birds (WU's!!)
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin sweet songs (WOW Signal?)
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin, "This is my message to you-ou-ou!" (must be the WOW!)

Singin: dont worry bout a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Singin: dont worry (dont worry) bout a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right!

The boys in the trenches are doing their best so don't worry!

Good day to you all.

and great work from the Sun and Berkeley Crew.

now I've get some work, and a lot of then pending of being uploaded and downloaded, I still have this work buffered in the BoincView marked as pending, but don´t worry I think it would be fixed in a few, on that way my computer are crunching CPDN, that there is still a lot to do for these units.

enjoy the life.

I have been crunching since 2001, this is the worst outage I can remember ever occuring. Would especially like to thank Matt, Jeff, Eric, Kevin and anyone else involved in the resurrection of Thumper(have you actually got a new name). I also think that SUN deserve a special thanks for their involvement, hate to think how much work/time you guys would have spent resolving Thumper's demise otherwise. Somebody needs to change the saying "The SUN rises in the EAST" because your all very WEST of my location. 24 spare hdd's bet you all lose sleep over what to do with them? ;) lol

You'd think if they knew how much trouble(some more than others) we go to they could at least say BOO!! sod's law say's they will be in the last place we look.

Keep up to good work it is much appreciated ttfn

Hey all:
Congrats to one and all there. I was sitting at the table having a safety meeting with the family,ie( nobody moves, nobody gets hurt, lol). Anyhow, was at the table, and happened to look over at the Moniter. I was so surprised to see we were up and running again. My family was getting tired of seeing the boink bubble running across the screen.
Again congrats to one and all there for their hard work, getting evereything going again. Just knew that that new equipment wouldn't sit around too long. Take care, and hope whatever is left of your weekend is a good one.

Thankx again
