I haven't visited the Crunching board in perhaps a year since I think they came out with the stock optimized app which I THINK I have.

Is there anything I need to add now to crunch more? Thanks in advance.

You appear to be running the current, stock SETI@home Enhanced v5.15 app. It’s only partly optimized, so to speak: volunteer developers have produced considerably faster versions. If you’re after maximal performance, see the optimized-apps sticky thread near the top of this forum. Note that if you install one, it will be up to you to keep it current; BOINC will not automatically download updated versions as it does for official apps whenever they are released by the project.

Ok...I seem to have an inordinate amount of trouble every time in the past I've had to install any sort of app on one of my machines. Earlier I thought I d/l chicken's latest one that he posted about this week. How do I find out if it's working? Better yet, could someone just irect me straight to a url for each of my particular 3 machines with a 1,2,3 instruction?

In addition the current stock app has intermittent issues with some WU's when run on dual core and other multiprocessor machines.

Hi there I had to reset my project and since that I have not reinstalled an optimized client. Since that I keep getting calculation mistakes etc. Any reason? My PC is a centrino duo.

Hard to say. With your computers hidden, it's hard to look at any results for clues as to what may be happening.
You would either have to unhide your computers or post a link or two to some errored results, or post a few relevant lines from your Boinc messages relating to the errors.
